Description
Rice and stew is a very popular Nigerian dish. This rich and flavorful Nigerian Stew is a
comforting, delicious, rich, and slightly spicy. The stew could be made with well-cooked
beef, goat, chicken or an assortment of meats (such as tripe/shaki, cows feet/bokoto
amongst others) together with bell peppers, tomatoes, onions etc. The Beef stew is one of
the most popular and recognizable Nigerian stew. The whole stew comes together in one pot.
Since this stew is tomato-based, it is sometimes also referred to as tomato stew.
Rice and stew is typically served with very softly cooked beans and/or fried plantain and stew.
We serve our version of RICE & S STEW with a selection of either fried plantain or beans
with 3 stew options of either Chicken, Beef or Assorted Meats (Orishishi) Stew.
