Description
Moi-moi or moin-moin is a steamed bean pudding made from a mixture of washed and peeled
beans and onions, peppers and spices. Often fish, eggs, corned beef and/or crayfish are added
for a savory taste. It is a protein-rich Yoruba food that is commonly eaten across Yorubaland
and close regions in West Africa. Though a simple dish, moi-moi is full of flavor, super
satisfying by itself and very versatile because it pairs well with different foods like Garri, Ogi,
Jollof Rice, Salads and many more.
